Hominy Grill is a favorite of Charleston locals. The restaurant is nearly impossible to get into Saturday and Sunday mornings unless you go early. There’s a reason this place gets booked for breakfast. Hominy shrimp and grits are famous on the peninsula, and whether you’re looking for eggs benedict or buttermilk pancakes, Hominy has you covered. Be sure to check the house below, as Hominy Grill’s menu changes after breakfast time, although if you’re a morning person, this is the place to start your day off right.
